In addition to serving as the controller of Grays Peak Partners in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, David Gerber is the CEO of Wolfgang Capital, a third-party management firm that handles administrative tasks for fund managers. This arrangement allows them to concentrate on their clients’ investments. David Gerber takes on services such as advising on strategy, quarterly reviews, and representing the company at investor meetings. He also assists startups in setting up their web presence, registering with the SEC, and implementing marketing plans.
In his position with Grays Peak Partners, Mr. Gerber is responsible for the company’s accounting and financial reporting procedures. He prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, also documenting accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliation of bank statements. In addition, he provides insights into capital management, communicates with investors, and ensures compliance with tax laws. His professional interests include institutional investing and hedge funds.
He graduated from Montclair College in Upper Montclair, New Jersey with a BS in accounting. When he is not working, he likes to play his guitar, play golf, and keep fit by working out.
